Mechanical Electrical Parking brake cable Fuse(s) Parking brake actuator Wiring harness/electrical connectors Parking brake caliper Check for bent/corroded pins Parking brake pads Parking brake switch Drop link caps Parking brake module - If an obvious cause for an observed or reported concern is found, correct the cause (if possible) before proceeding to the next step.
- If the cause is not visually evident and the Jaguar approved diagnostic system is not available, use a suitable code reader to retrieve any fault codes before proceeding to the Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Index Chart (or the Symptom Chart if no DTCs are set), for actions to take.
