Brake Fluid Reservoir: Installation

  1. Install seals into master cylinder.
    • Remove plugs.
    • The Lubricate seals with clean brake fluid.
    • Install seals.

  2. Install reservoir to master cylinder.
    • Remove plugs.
    • Install reservoir, making sure reservoir is fully seated.
    • Install locating pin.

  3. Install pedal housing, brake booster and master cylinder assembly. Refer to BRAKE PEDAL AND BRACKET, BRAKE BOOSTER AND BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER .
  4. Install plenum cover. Refer to COWL VENT SCREEN .
  5. Install windshield wiper arm and blade assembly. Refer to WIPER PIVOT ARM .
  6. Reconnect battery ground cable. Refer to BATTERY RECONNECTION PROCEDURE .
  7. Bleed brake system. Refer to BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM .
  8. Remove paint-work protection covers and close engine compartment.
