Removal & Installation (XJR, XJ8 & XK8)
- Turn ignition key to ON (II) position. Adjust steering column to its lowest and fully extended position. Turn ignition off. Disconnect negative battery cable. Disable air bag system and remove driver's side air bag.
- Remove steering wheel from steering column. Remove underscuttle (trim panel) below steering column. Remove instrument panel trim. Disconnect gauge module plugs (connectors). Remove 4 gauge module-to-fascia retaining screws. Remove gauge module. To install, reverse removal procedure.
