Test Note 5

Install and remove test adaptor and gauge to strut bleed elbow

Test Gauge Connection At Strut:

INSTALL:

1. Drive car on a ramp. Wheels must support weight of car.
2. Remove bleed screw adaptor and connect a hose.
3. Open bleed screw and allow fluid flow until suspension lowers fully.
4. Remove bleed screw and install Jaguar adaptor JDS 9007/1 with seal washer in bleed screw taping.
5. Install test point 5 (12 mm thread) with seal washer in adaptor.
6. Connect test hose and gauge to test point.

REMOVE:

Ride Height Sensor Link:

1. Disconnect and lower ride height sensor link arm. Wait 20 seconds.
2. Suspend rear wheels.
3. Remove test gauge and hose assembly.
4. Remove test point and adaptor.
5. Install bleed nipple.
6. Bleed system.
