Upper Control Arm

Fig. 3 Upper Control Arm Removal:

1. Remove upper ball joint securing bolts. Note position and remove caster shims.
2. Remove accumulator securing bolts and reposition for access.
3. Remove upper control arm pivot bolt nut and outer spacer washer. Fig. 3.
4. Move pivot bolt for access, then remove control arm.
5. Reverse procedure to install. Tighten to specifications and adjust wheel alignment.
