Solenoid Terminal Voltage Drop Test

1. Connect voltmeter across two main solenoid terminals and crank engine.
2. A zero or fractional reading indicates high resistance in starter circuit is result of high resistance battery cables or soldered connections.
3. A high reading indicates a faulty solenoid or connections.
