Issue:
Jaguar Service Manuals recommend using Loctite 501 for sealing the oil pump backing plate on 4.0L engines. This is a misprint as the recommendation should have been for Loctite 510.
NOTE:
Loctite 510 is not universally available.
Action:
Locally obtained Loctite 518 Gasket Eliminator may be used where Loctite 510 is specified.
