Wheel Bearing: Service and Repair

Rear Hub Assembly:

1. Remove rear hub assembly from vehicle.

2. Using hub press tool No. JD132-1 or equivalent, align hub assembly to press. Ensure parking brake expander is located in tool cut out.
3. Insert hub press button tool No. JD132-2 or equivalent, into hub assembly.

4. Using a press, separate and remove hub from carrier.
5. Remove press tools from hub, then remove outer hub seal and bearing with a punch.
6. Reposition hub and remove inner hub seal and bearing with a punch.
7. Reverse procedure to install. Tighten to specifications.
