Accumulator: Service and Repair

Valve Block Up To VIN 653345:

The charge valve wire colors are Y/B (yellow / black) and W/S (white / slate). It will be necessary to carefully remove individual wires from the multiplug connector.


1. Depressurize hydraulic system.

Harness Connector:

2. Remove anti-backout plate and seals from connector.
3. Remove necessary pins from connector using Jaguar tool JD 137 or equivalent.
4. Protect against escaping fluid, loosen and remove valve.
5. Reverse steps to refit, tightening valve to:

26 - 33 ft lb (35 - 45 Nm)

6. Top up reservoir.
7. Exercise and/or bleed system.
