Defrost/Demist Vacuum SolenoidRemoval
1. Open the bonnet and disconnect the battery earth lead.
2. Remove the right hand side dash liner and the footwell outlet duct.
3. Remove the two screws securing the solenoid mounting panel and displace the panel for access.
4. Note their positions then disconnect the vacuum hoses and the supply cables.
5. Remove the solenoid assembly.
6. Remove the vacuum elbow tube and the green vacuum tube.
7. Release the solenoid mounting clip and remove the solenoid.
Installation
- Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.
