Installation Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  1. Install the 4 bolts (1) securing the recliner assembly to the seat adjuster. Refer to Front Seat Recliner Replacement .

    Tighten:  Tighten the front seat recliner bolts to 24 N.m (18 lb ft).

  2. Install the 4 bolts (1) securing the recliner assembly to the seat back. Refer to Front Seat Recliner Replacement .

    Tighten:  Tighten the front seat recliner bolts to 24 N.m (18 lb ft).

  3. Install the cable end from the seat adjuster (2) by inserting the ball (1) though the round opening.
  4. Install the seat adjuster cable (3) to the seat adjuster.
  5. Install the seat back cover and pad. Refer to Front Seat Back Cushion Cover and Cushion Pad Replacement .
  6. Install the seat cushion cover and pad. Refer to Front Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement .
  7. Install the seat cushion outer trim panel. Refer to Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement .
  8. Install the seat in the vehicle. Refer to Split Bench Seat Replacement  or Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .
