Installation Procedure

  1. Install the cable between the seat cushion frame and the seat adjuster.

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  2. Tighten the seat cushion frame mounting nuts (1) that secure the seat cushion frame to the power seat adjuster frame.

    Tighten:  Tighten the front seat cushion frame mounting nuts to 24 N.m (18 lb ft).

  3. Install the seat cushion cover and pad over the seat cushion frame. Refer to Front Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement .

  4. Install the cable end to the seat adjuster (2) by inserting the ball (1) though the round opening.
  5. Install the seat adjuster cable (3) to the seat adjuster (2).
  6. Repeat steps 5 and 6 to install the cable to the opposite side of the seat.
  7. Install the seat switch bezel. Refer to Driver Seat and Passenger Seat Adjuster Switch Bezel Replacement .
  8. Install the seat cushion outer trim panel. Refer to Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement .
  9. Install the seat in the vehicle. Refer to Split Bench Seat Replacement  or Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .
