Installation Procedure

  1. Install the lumbar switch to the switch bezel, verifying that the retaining tabs are fully seated. Refer to Lumbar Switch Replacement .
  2. Install the seat switch to the switch bezel, verifying that the retaining tabs are fully seated. Refer to Power Seat Switch Replacement .
  3. Hook the seat cushion cover J-strip to the top of the bezel.
  4. Position the bezel on the seat and press down to engage the retaining clips.

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  5. Install the switch bezel (1) to the seat with the 3 screws (2).

    Tighten:  Tighten the seat switch bezel screws to 1.5 N.m (13 lb in).

  6. Install the seat cushion outer trim panel to the seat assembly. Refer to Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement .
  7. Install the seat in the vehicle. Refer to Split Bench Seat Replacement  or Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .
