Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear propeller shaft. Refer to Propeller Shaft Replacement - One Piece .
    2. Fig 1: Removing Rear Output Shaft Seal

    NOTE: Refer to Transfer Case Seal Removal Notice .
  2. Using a flat-bladed screwdriver and a hammer, remove the rear output shaft seal from the transfer case.
