Installation Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Notice .
  1. Install the transfer case 2/4 indicator switch (4) and gasket (3) into the transfer case.

    Tighten:  Tighten the 2/4 indicator switch to 39 N.m (29 lb ft).

  2. Route the 2/4 indicator switch pigtail along the bracket (1)
  3. Install the switch connector bracket bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the switch connector bracket bolt to 15 N.m (11 lb ft).

  4. Connect the gray 2/4 indicator switch electrical connector (2) to the bracket (1).

  5. Connect the gray engine wiring harness electrical connector (2) to the gray 2/4 indicator switch electrical connector (4).
  6. Lower the vehicle.
