Installation Procedure

  1. Position the engine lift bracket to the engine.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  3. Install the bolts securing engine lift bracket to the engine.

    Tighten: 

    1. Tighten the bolts a first pass in sequence to 5 N.m (44 lb in).
    2. Tighten the bolts a final pass in sequence to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

  5. Position the generator to the engine.
  6. Install the generator mounting bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts in sequence to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

  8. Engage the engine wiring harness conduit (4) to the engine lift bracket (1).
  9. Install the bolt (3) securing the A/C compressor hose/pipe bracket (2) to the engine lift bracket (1).

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  10. Install the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .
