Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .
  2. Remove the left front wheelhouse liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement .
  3. Remove the air conditioning (A/C) suction hose from the compressor. Refer to Suction Hose Replacement .
  4. Remove the A/C discharge hose from the compressor. Refer to Discharge Hose Replacement .
  5. Remove the bolts securing the drive belt idler pulley to the engine.
  6. Remove drive belt idler pulley from the engine.
