Installation Procedure

  1. Position drive belt idler pulley to the engine.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  2. Install the bolts securing the drive belt idler pulley to the engine.

    Tighten:  Tighten the drive belt idler pulley bolts in sequence to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

  3. Install the A/C suction hose to the compressor. Refer to Suction Hose Replacement .
  4. Install the A/C discharge hose to the compressor. Refer to Discharge Hose Replacement .
  5. Install the left front wheelhouse liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement .
  6. Install the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .
