Crankshaft Balancer Removal

Tools Required

  1. Remove and discard the crankshaft balancer bolt.

  3. Install J 41816-2  into the end of the crankshaft.
  4. IMPORTANT: Do not pull on outer edge of the crankshaft balancer.
    IMPORTANT: The friction washer may come off with the crankshaft balancer.
  5. Use J-41816  and J-41816-3  to remove the crankshaft balancer.
  6. Remove J 41816-2  .
