Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .

  2. Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) electrical connector (3) from the engine wiring harness connector (1).
    3. NOTE: Refer to Excessive Force and Oxygen Sensor Notice .

  3. Using the J 39194-B  , remove the HO2S from the catalytic converter.
