Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2007 Isuzu i-370, 2007 GMC Canyon, and 2007 Chevrolet Colorado. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install new O-ring seals to the CKP sensor.
  2. Lightly lubricate the O-ring seals with clean engine oil.

  4. Install the CKP sensor into the engine block.
  5. Add sealer GM P/N 12346004 (Canadian P/N 10953480) to the CKP sensor bolt threads.
  6. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  7. Install the CKP sensor bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the CKP sensor bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  9. Connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (3) to the CKP sensor (1).
  10. Lower the vehicle.
  11. Perform the CKP System Variation Learn Procedure. Refer to Crankshaft Position System Variation Learn .
