Radiator Surge Tank Outlet Hose/Pipe Replacement

Radiator Surge Tank Hose/Pipe Replacement - Outlet

Callout Component Name
Fastener Tightening Specifications:  Refer to Fastener Tightening Specifications .

Preliminary Procedure

    IMPORTANT: Drain only the fluid from the radiator surge tank.
  1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System (Static Fill)  or Draining and Filling Cooling System (Vac-N-Fill) .
  2. Remove the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement .
  3. Remove the surge tank. Refer to Surge Tank Replacement .
1 Radiator Surge Tank Outlet Pipe Nuts (Qty: 2)
Tip:  Using J 47622, position the surge tank hose clamp aside and remove the surge tank hose from the heater hose.
