Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2007 Cadillac DTS. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
    IMPORTANT: Set the oil cooler lines in the vehicle loosely before installing radiator to ensure proper routing of lines over the radiator.
  1. Install the engine oil cooler lines to the vehicle.

  3. Install the engine oil cooler outlet line (1) to the engine oil filter adaptor.
  4. IMPORTANT: Tug gently on the engine oil cooler lines (1, 2) at the oil filter adaptor to ensure proper retention.
  5. Install the engine oil cooler inlet line (2) to the engine oil filter adaptor.
  6. Install the radiator assembly. Refer to Radiator Replacement .
  7. Inspect the engine oil level.
