Action Taken When the DTC Sets

The object alarm module commands ON the information center telltale red indicator and disable the object detection system.
The object alarm module will send a GMLAN serial data message to the instrument panel cluster (IPC) to display SERVICE PARK ASSIST message on the driver information center (DIC) and the chime will sound from the radio speakers.
