J 21177-A Drum to Brake Shoe Clearance Gage. See Special Tools .

CAUTION: Refer to Brake Dust Caution .

The park brake cable is self-adjusting. No cable adjustment is needed.

The park brake shoes require adjustment.

Set the J 21177-A to the inside diameter of the rear brake rotor (1). See Special Tools .

Position the J 21177-A . See Special Tools .
Turn the adjuster nut until the lining (1) just contacts the J 21177-A . See Special Tools .
Repeat steps 1 through 3 for the opposite side.
The clearance between the park brake shoe and the rotor is 0.660 mm 0.026 inches.
