Fastener Tightening Specifications:  Refer to Fastener Tightening Specifications .

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
  2. Remove the seat back cushion cover and pad. Refer to Front Seat Back Cover and Cushion Pad Replacement .
1 Seat Back Cushion Finish Panel
Tip:  Use a J 38778  Door Trim Pad Clip Remover to aid in the removal of the 2 lower seat back retainers.
