Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the tires and the wheels. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  3. Using a block of wood and a suitable jack, support the exhaust and the rear support assembly.

  5. Remove the exhaust system. Refer to Exhaust System Replacement .

  7. Remove the center support brackets (1).
  8. Remove the two rear support assembly bolts.
  9. Lower the rear of the support assembly.

  11. Remove the two bolts at the body mount.
  12. Remove the rear body mount.
