Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the engine harness electrical connector (1) from the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor wiring harness electrical connector.
  2. Remove the intake manifold. Refer to Intake Manifold Replacement .

  4. Disconnect the CKP sensor wiring harness electrical connector (1) from the CKP sensor.
  5. Disconnect the CKP sensor wiring harness electrical connector (2) from the left knock sensor.
  6. Disconnect the harness clip (3) from the engine harness ground bracket.

  8. Disconnect the CKP sensor wiring harness electrical connector (3) from the right knock sensor.
  9. Remove the harness clip (4) from the engine block hole.
  10. Remove the CKP sensor wiring harness bolts (1, 2).
  11. Remove the CKP sensor wiring harness.
