Installation Procedure

  1. Lubricate the oil level indicator tube O-ring seal with clean engine oil.
  2. Install the oil level indictor tube into the lower crankcase opening.
    3. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  3. Slide the indicator tube behind the tube nut. Tighten the nut.

    Tighten:  Tighten the nut to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  4. Install the oil level indicator.
  5. Install the front engine mount bracket. Refer to Engine Mount Bracket Replacement - Front .
