Installation Procedure

  1. Position the drive belt tensioner to the left cylinder head. Ensure the anti-rotation pin is in the hole.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  3. Install the drive belt tensioner bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

  4. Install the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .
  5. Install new seal. Connect the A/C compressor suction hose to the A/C evaporator hose.
  6. Recharge the A/C system. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging .
  7. Install the right engine mount strut. Refer to Engine Mount Strut Replacement - Right Side .
  8. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
