Steering Wheel Replacement

Preliminary Procedure Remove the inflatable restraint steering wheel module. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module Replacement .
1	Steering Wheel Nut NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Tighten: 40 N.m (30 lb ft)
2	Steering Wheel Procedure Disconnect any electrical connectors as needed. Use J 1859-A Steering Wheel Puller and J 42578 Steering Wheel Puller Legs to remove the steering wheel. See Special Tools .

Tighten: 40 N.m (30 lb ft)

Procedure

Disconnect any electrical connectors as needed.
Use J 1859-A Steering Wheel Puller and J 42578 Steering Wheel Puller Legs to remove the steering wheel. See Special Tools .
