Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Remove the rear door water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .

  3. Remove the bolt retaining the rear door check link to the body.

  4. Remove the rear door wiring harness grommet from the body by depressing the retaining tabs (1).

  5. Disconnect the rear door wiring harness to main body harness connector.
  6. Disconnect the rear door wiring harness connectors from all door hardware.
  7. Note the routing of the rear door wiring harness and disconnect the harness retainers from the inner door panel.
  8. Remove the rear door wiring harness grommet from the door.
  9. Remove the rear door wiring harness from the rear door.
