Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Remove the rear inside door handle. Refer to Door Handle Replacement - Rear Inside .
  3. Remove the rear door water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  4. Remove the rear door window run channel. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Channel Replacement .
  5. Remove the rear door outer belt sealing strip. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Rear Door Window Belt Outer .
  6. Remove the rear door window. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Replacement .
  7. Remove the rear door window weatherstrip. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Weatherstrip Replacement .
  8. Remove the rear door window regulator. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Regulator Replacement .
  9. Remove the rear door outside handle. Refer to Door Handle Replacement - Rear Outside .
  10. Remove the rear door lock. Refer to Rear Door Lock Replacement .
  11. Remove the rear door speaker. Refer to Radio Rear Side Door Speaker Replacement .
  12. Remove the rear door weatherstrip. Refer to Rear Door Weatherstrip Replacement .
  13. Remove the rear door check link. Refer to Rear Side Door Check Link Replacement .
  14. Remove the rear door wiring harness. Refer to Rear Side Door Wiring Harness Replacement .

  15. Remove the bolts (1) retaining the rear door hinge keeper straps.
  16. With an assistant, lift the rear door up off the body side hinges.
  17. Remove the rear door side hinges. Refer to Rear Side Door Hinge Replacement - Door Side .
