Removal Procedure

  1. Open the rear door.
  2. Remove the bolt retaining the rear door check link to the body.
  3. Remove the rear door wiring harness grommet from the body and disconnect the door wiring harness connectors. Refer to Rear Side Door Wiring Harness Replacement .

  4. Remove the bolts (1) retaining the rear door hinge keeper straps.
  5. With the aid of an assistant, lift the rear door up off the body side hinges and place the door on a clean, protected surface.

  6. Remove the bolts retaining the door side hinges to the door.
  7. Remove the hinges from the door.
