Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front hood seal. Refer to Hood Front Seal Replacement .
  2. Using a grease pencil or other suitable marking device, mark the position of the hood to the hinges.
  3. With the aid of an assistant, remove the 4 bolts that retain the hood to the hood hinges.
  4. With the aid of an assistant, remove the hood from the vehicle.
