Hood Adjustment
- The hood hinges are bolted to the inner fender and to the hood.
- Make fore and aft adjustments by elongating the hood-side hinge holes.
- Make vertical adjustments at the front by adjusting the hood bumpers up or down.
- Gap tolerances are 2-6 mm (0.1-0.22 in).
- Flush tolerances are 0-2 mm (0-0.06 in).
- Open the hood.
- Loosen the hinge to hood bolts.
- Adjust the hood to the fender position.
- Close the hood.
- Inspect the hood alignment.
- Open the hood.
- Adjust the hood as needed.
- Install the hinge to the hood bolts.
Tighten: Tighten the hood hinge bolts to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).
- Adjust the hood bumpers.
- Close the hood.
