Removal Procedure

  1. Open the front door.
  2. Remove the bolt retaining the front door check link to the body.
  3. Remove the front door wiring harness grommet from the body and disconnect the door wiring harness connectors. Refer to Front Side Door Wiring Harness Replacement .

  4. Remove the bolts (1) retaining the front door hinge keeper straps.
  5. With the aid of an assistant, lift the front door up off the body side hinges and place the door on a clean, protected surface.

  6. Remove the bolts retaining the door side hinges to the door.
  7. Remove the hinges from the door.
