Installation Procedure

Install the shift lever assembly to the control lever, aligning the set screw threaded hole with the seat (3).
Apply threadlock GM P/N 12345493 (Canadian P/N 10953488) to the shift lever set screw threads.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Install the shift lever set screw.
Tighten: Tighten the shift lever set screw to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

Push downward on the bezel in order to engage the bezel retainers (2) with the console (3).
