Circuit/System Testing
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
- Ignition OFF, disconnect the clutch start switch harness connector.
- Ignition ON, test for 11-13 volts on the clutch start switch harness connector terminal A and ground.
- If not within the specified range, test the ignition voltage circuit for a short to ground, or an open/high resistance. If the circuit tests normal, refer to SYMPTOMS - ENGINE ELECTRICAL .
- Ignition ON, test for less than 1 volt on the clutch start switch harness connector terminal B and ground.
- If greater than the specified value, test the signal circuit for a short to voltage. If the circuit tests normal, replace the PCM.
- Ignition OFF, connect the clutch start switch harness connector.
- Ignition OFF, disconnect the PCM C1 harness connector.
- Ignition ON, clutch pedal applied, test for 11-13 volts on C1 terminal 54 of the PCM harness connector.
- If not within the specified value, test the clutch start switch signal circuit for a short to ground, or an open/high resistance. If the circuit tests normal, replace the clutch start switch.
- If all circuits test normal, replace the PCM.
