WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the clutch start switch harness connector.
  2. Ignition ON, test for 11-13 volts on the clutch start switch harness connector terminal A and ground.
    • If not within the specified range, test the ignition voltage circuit for a short to ground, or an open/high resistance. If the circuit tests normal, refer to SYMPTOMS - ENGINE ELECTRICAL .
  3. Ignition ON, test for less than 1 volt on the clutch start switch harness connector terminal B and ground.
    • If greater than the specified value, test the signal circuit for a short to voltage. If the circuit tests normal, replace the PCM.
  4. Ignition OFF, connect the clutch start switch harness connector.
  5. Ignition OFF, disconnect the PCM C1 harness connector.
  6. Ignition ON, clutch pedal applied, test for 11-13 volts on C1 terminal 54 of the PCM harness connector.
    • If not within the specified value, test the clutch start switch signal circuit for a short to ground, or an open/high resistance. If the circuit tests normal, replace the clutch start switch.
  7. If all circuits test normal, replace the PCM.
