Circuit/System Testing

  1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the appropriate seat or lumbar adjuster switch.
  2. Ignition ON, verify the scan tool seat or lumbar switch parameters are Inactive.
    • If not Inactive, test the signal circuit that displays Active for a short to voltage. If the circuit tests normal, replace the MSM.
  3. If all circuits test normal, test or replace the appropriate seat or lumbar adjuster switch.
