Removal Procedure

  1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the transmission mount. Refer to Transmission Mount Replacement (4.2L)  or Transmission Mount Replacement (5.3L) .
  3. Remove the transmission mount spacer mounting bolts (2).
  4. Remove the transmission mount spacer (1).
