Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Identifying Body Seal-To-Fender Bracket Clips

  1. If replacing the body to fender seal, position the seal to the vehicle.
  2. Ensure that the integral clips (1) on the seal are seated into the fender bracket (2).

  3. Position the fender to the vehicle.
    4. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  4. Install the bolts that retain the fender to the vehicle.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  5. Install the hood bumper to the vehicle.
  6. Install the rocker panel molding. Refer to Rocker Panel Molding Replacement .
  7. Install the wheelhouse panel. Refer to Wheelhouse Panel Replacement (Front End) .
  8. Install the assist step, if applicable. Refer to Assist Step Replacement .
  9. Remove the protective tape.
