Fastener Tightening Specifications: Refer to Fastener Tightening Specifications . Preliminary Procedure Remove the front grille. Refer to Grille Replacement (Envoy) , Grille Replacement (Rainier) or Grille Replacement (TrailBlazer) .
1	Pal Nuts (Qty: 2) Tip: Firmly secure the pal nuts to the emblem after installation.
2	Front Grille Nameplate Replacement (Bowtie) Tip: When removing protective liners from adhesive tape, be careful not to touch tape with hands and do not allow tape to come in contact with dirt or any foreign matter prior to adhesion. Use a J 25070 or equivalent to remove the old nameplate. Clean all adhesive from front grille, wipe the surface dry with a clean lint-free towel prior to installing the new nameplate.
