Removal Procedure

Remove the filler tube indicator.
Remove the nut (2) securing the filler tube to the secondary air injection (AIR) reaction stud (1).
Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .

Remove the catalytic converter heat shield bolts (1) and shield.
Position a drain pan under the vehicle.

Remove the filler tube (1) and seal (2) from the vehicle.
