Circuit Operation

With the starter switch in ON OR START, battery voltage is applied to the neutral start switch through the CB-14 BACK UP/TURN LIGHT fuse. The neutral start switch sends a signal to the transmission control module (TCM), and the meter assembly corresponding to the gear selected. In the P and N positions a signal is also sent to the transfer control unit. In the R position voltage is applied to the back up lights.
