Removal & Installation (Driver-side)

Before proceeding, see AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS . Disable SRS. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM . Remove driver-side air bag assembly Torx bolts. Disconnect driver-side air bag 2-pin connector. Remove driver-side air bag assembly.
To install, reverse removal procedure. Ensure wire harness is positioned in wire protector tabs. Tighten driver-side air bag Torx bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Activate air bag system.
