Circuit Description

DTC 71 is an indication of a potential internal SDM malfunction and will set if any of the following conditions are detected:

• Deployment or Microprocessor Energy Reserve Failure
• EEPROM Failure
• ROM Failure
• RAM Failure
• Calibration Checksum Failure
• Deployment Switch Faults
• Accelerometer Fault
• Arming Sensor Fault
• Diagnostic Current Fault
• DTC 19, 25, 51 Or 53
