An intermittent condition is likely to be caused by a short between circuits IB05 (Yellow wire) and IB06 (Yellow/Black wire) or a malfunctioning shorting clip on driver-side air bag assembly or SRS coil assembly, requiring replacement of component. The test for this DTC is only run while AIR BAG warning light is performing bulb check unless DTC 17 or 26 is detected. When scan tool CLEAR CODES command is issued and malfunction is still present, DTC will not reappear until next ignition cycle.
