An intermittent condition is likely to be caused by a poor connection at terminals No. 1 and 2 of SRS coil 2-pin connector at base of steering column, terminals No. 1 and 2 of driver air bag assembly 2-pin connector at top of steering column, SDM terminals No. 3 (Yellow wire) and 4 (Yellow/Black wire) or poor wire to terminal connection in circuits IB05 (Yellow wire) and IB06 (Yellow/Black wire). The test for this DTC is only run while AIR BAG warning light is performing bulb check unless DTC 17 or 26 is detected. When scan tool CLEAR CODES command is issued and malfunction is still present, DTC will not reappear until next ignition cycle.
