An intermittent condition is likely to be caused by a poor connection at passenger-side air bag harness connector terminals No. 1 and 2, SDM terminals No. 15 (Yellow/Green wire) and 16 (Yellow/Red wire) or a poor connection in circuits IB07 (Yellow/Green wire) and IB08 (Yellow/Red wire). The test for this DTC is only run while AIR BAG warning light is performing bulb check unless DTC 17 or 26 is detected. When scan tool CLEAR CODES command is issued and malfunction is still present, DTC will not reappear until next ignition cycle.
